Although not known as a kiting destination, Angus has some great locations for kiting. Arbroath's Victoria Park is great for all standards of fliers and paragliders have been seen taking off from the grassy cliffs.
With spectacular sand dunes backed by the rolling Angus countryside, Lunan Bay is a wide-open stretch of golden sand and is a fantastic venue for learning kiting. Although no restrictions are in place, care must be taken as this is a very popular family beach which can get crowded.
With its fabulous surf and sand, Lunan Bay is perfect for adventure pursuits and is attracting more and more kiters, surfers, body boarders, sea kayakers and kite boarders.
