The author of Peter Pan Sir James Barrie, born in Kirriemuir, stayed, and wrote here during his years of retirement, and some of our modern day guests have been regulars for over 20 years. There is magic in the air.No through road, yet 3 international airports within 2 hours drive; not to mention 12 golf courses within an hour! Our cottages are all on Balnaboth Estate, which has passed through the Ogilvy family for around 600 years. They were occupied by staff now long gone, and have been tastefully & comfortably modernised. |
