The Glenesk is an independently owned, family run hotel which is situated in the beautiful village of Edzell in the north-east of Scotland. Despite its rural setting, it is located just 5 miles off the main A90, approximately half way between Dundee and Aberdeen.
The hotel itself has 23 bedrooms, a leisure club including a swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and a small exercise room, excellent dining facilities and plenty of off road parking. We also have a large garden with an adventure play area for the kids for the sunny days and a snooker room, lounges with free wi-fi and a drying room for the rainy ones!
The hotel adjoins the Edzell Golf Course and can offer discounted green fees if you are a resident with us. Should you wish to take up the superb opportunities for fishing and shooting in the area then we will happily put you in touch with local estates who can organise such events.
